At times I get so caught up in what is going on in my world, the everyday things that take up so much of my time that I forget about, if I am being honest I forget about a lots of things. Today I was setting at my office doing the same things I do everyday and I got an email telling me there had been some sort of update on the Timber Ridge website something to do with software or plug-in nothing really important, just behinds the scenes things that happen automatically. It was a message I have received 100 times and ignored. But for what ever reason I thought this time I would take a look at the website. The sad thing is, as I was clicking through all the photos, videos, calendars and pages, I came to the realization that I couldn’t remember the last time I was on the site. That in and of itself doesn’t seem like a big deal, its a web site right? Well, I then clicked through the blog pages and noticed that mine was blank. And that got me to thinking about all the things that I find myself neglecting, forgetting about, or just don’t get to because I am “busy”. I have days that I am so busy that I get absolutely nothing accomplished tell me, how does that make any sense?
Ephesians 5:15-17 15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
” Make the most of every opportunity” yeah, I fail at that more than I like to admit.
