INCOIMING GRACE, OUTGOING GRATITUDE

In my sermon this past Sunday, I shared a spiritual ‘law’ that when we receive God’s grace in our lives, gratitude is the natural expression.  When you find people who are thankful and generous, then you will find a person who has a good understanding of the grace they have received by God.  Too often we forget that God is for us and with us.  We become focused on what we are going through or what we do not have, and we begin to complain.  We get grumpy and cantankerous!

The same is true in the life of a church family.  When we forget the grace we have received, we get cantankerous and grouchy.  We begin to grumble and complain.  I want you to know I am thankful for my church family. You are a gift from God to me, and to each of you.  You are a family that love each other even though we sometimes disagree. We encourage each other, pray with and for each other.  We work together in Christ’s service.  We sing, give, and praise God together.  We also cry with each other.  We grieve together.  We are a family, made possible by God’s grace gift to you!

Come Sunday to study the Bible together at 9:45 am.  Come and worship together at 11:00 am.  Come and hear and respond to God’s call together.  We are family!
