Fill it up with ethyl. Gas wars. 10 cents for soda pop, 3 cents on the bottle. Candy bars 5 cents. Spankings where handed out regularly. Half gallon milk & loaf of bread under one dollar. Families use to visit on Sunday’s and have a big meal. The bad part is I remember all of these first hand.
