Who’s Up Next

Welcome back to Spiritual Realm park.  We have a big line up tonight. Hi coach,I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule.  Can you give us any tips of what to expect ? Well, this team  is made up from  a lot of men who have  made some changes in their lives.  First up, Patrick, a steady hitter, but now with power. He steps up to the plate, the pitch … crack, it is a good hit, its going, going, gone.  Over the marque sign and out of the park, home run.  The team is out of control, next up Wayne, he steps to the plate, the pitch’s blow by him, strike ,ball ,ball strike, ball. Wayne has a full count. He turns to look, steps out of the box, the team is yelling you can do it, we have faith, Wayne we love you. You can almost see his confidence grow as he steps back in, crack, home run. Satan doesn’t like to lose so he does what ever he can to try to  destroy you, tonight’s game is rained out.  Saturday morning great day to play ball, Brad is on deck ,something is not right a crowd is gathering around him.  Looks like Brad is out of the game, an ambulance takes him away. Jeff says, lets all pray. Wonder what it sounds like to God to hear a bunch of men pray? Randy comes to the plate  heavy with burdens. Swing and a miss. Hold it you can’t hit the ball with a pile of burdens on your shoulders. Lets go to the altar. Next up George, the pitch  swing high fly ball going, going, gone. Tell that ball goodby. By  midday the battle was raging. Brad is  in the hospital. Well, he was…Look it’s Brad, he’s back. The power of prayer, God’s not dead.  By the end of the day we were worn out.  Our team mates met us at our bunks. My son (Josh) washed my feet, what an honor! Men of God washing our feet, powerful men of God. That puts power  in your heart. Sunday the game still on. Joe is up to the plate, a good hitter, dedicated to his family.  He is holding back, he has the power to knock it out of the park. Troy is on deck,  another powerful hitter! Joe takes a fast ball, strike, he turns to look at his boys ,zing, another fast ball. The team is out of the dugout cheering him on. The pitch, swing, crack, oh did you feel the breeze off that swing? Way back way back gone, out of the park. One of the players on the other side  bends over to pick up the cover, he knocked the cover off.The battle rages on. If we are going to win this game we need to step it up.  The mighty men waiting hand and foot on us are all here, Josh, Matt, Jeff, Randy J. & Darren. Well, I am up. Stepping to the plate, I look over to the dugout, standing there cheering me on is my son. I wish this was over, the pitch. What pitch and why did he call it a strike. How are you suppose to hit a bullet. One foot out of the batter box, deep breath, I can do this, we use to beat the enemy all the time,  I NEED PRAYER… ZING ..STRIKE two. It’s the water here, you drink it and it comes out your eyes. Bring me something strong somebody,  like grape nehigh.  My son comes on the field, waves to the other coach Matt. Walking over to me, the Jones brothers, Randy, Bowden brothers, David, Troy, Wayne ,Patrick, Jeff, George, Brad ,are all on the field. They make a circle around me. These men mean business, they all have swords on their sides. Josh,Matt and Jeff  have stepped into there armour. The full armour of God.  Even with all that I still was not sure I could do well, but Josh had a secret weapon.  A love letter from my wife.  Women you don’t know the power you possess over us men.  Step back,  the pitch, crack, out of the park . A man on the outside of the park  bent over to pick up the ball and written on the side in capital letters FREEDOM Gal 5:1
